I just spent way too long defending the athletic merits of Competitive Eating to a co-worker. Every time he's stopped by my desk today I have been looking up something gorging-related, and he just laughs. But these guys are serious. They train their asses off. I watched a little doc on it last night and I've been obsessing all day, mostly over Tim Janus, who was a sweetheart...and a President's Scholar. I have a crush. Look at the makeup!
